Chris
Bruton and David McHale have been involved in the world of bulldogs,
breeding and showing since 1975. During this time they have built
up one of the most successful bulldog breed kennels in the world
- Kelloe Bulldogs.
Their biggest win to date, amongst many, was Reserve Supreme Champion
at CRUFTS in 1986 with Champion Tyegarth Jacob of Kelloe ( 34 C.C.s)
and they are the breeders of the breed blueprint: Champion Kelloe
White Glove. Retired on 50 C.C.´s at just 4 years old - (
50 C.C.´s - all awarded by different judges) for many years
now - The Bulldog Breed Record Holder.
Her full brother Champion Kelloe Kid Glove is behind all our present
stock - and indeed behind most of the top winning stock in the United
Kingdom and also in Europe today - as is `Jacob´ Champion
Tyegarth Jacob of Kelloe.
Our demand as judges has taken us to every corner of the globe,
from as far afield as Russia and Japan to, in the past year alone,
officiating in in the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Italy and
Spain.
The past four months has seen Chris judging in the United Kingdom,
as one of the judges for Bulldog of the Year, and then, Seville,
Spain.
David, this spring alone, will have judged in Seville, Spain, in
the United Kingdom, in France and Norway.
March 2007 saw him judging the highlight of everyone judging career;
when he took centre stage at CRUFTS. David drew one of the largest
entries ever for bulldogs - 246 - the largest entry of any breed
in this years Utility Group!
In 2004 we relocated to Spain - where we can pursue our passion
for breeding and showing the bulldogs. In fact. we are the breeders
of the Top Winning Bulldog Puppy 2006 in the United Kingdom - Kelloe
Fidelity Newrock.
Our bullies spend their days basking in the warm Mediterranean sun
and our friends, old and new, enjoy their visits, much as before,
but now at our 15th. century Molino (Water Mill) Molino del Pantano,
set at the foot of the Sierra Cortina Mountains with views out to
the Mediterranean, alongside our homebred Peacocks, Turkeys, Java
Chickens, Dutch Cockerels and Guinea Fowl.
